Hello! I am the 7th grade Social studies teacher. I'm originally from NH but have made my way down the coast via NY, DE, and now NC. This is my 10th year of teaching. I spent 3 years teaching social studies and language arts in grades 6-8 in Delaware. This is my 7th year teaching at East Wake Academy. I attended Wesley College in Dover, DE focusing on the areas of study of History and English. I went on to complete by Masters in Education at Wilmington University in Dover, DE. I have a daughter named Amelia who keeps me very busy outside of school. Most of my free time is spent chasing her and our little dog around.
